Mock Bid

Find out what it is like to be a General Contractor on bid day! Work as a team to review sub bids, put your number together, and see who comes in low. Be careful not to miss something!

This interactive workshop gives the an inside peak into a contractors office on bid day. Learn about how different project delivery methods can affect how a project is managed.

Speakers

Ali LaManna, CSI, CDT, AIA Associate - Project Manager - Walsh Construction

Ali LaManna has been in the construction industry for over 13 years working on projects ranging from K-12 and higher education to critical facilities, multi-family housing and shelters. She has experience using project delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, CMGC, and Design-Build. Ali started in construction after graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Architecture. Being able to see the projects from both a design and construction perspective has been a great asset to the project teams. Ali’s involvement with CSI has strengthened this passion. Ali has held a position of Portland CSI Board from July 2013 to the present, including Chapter President from July 2018 to June 2020.
