Join Portland CSI for an afternoon of spring cleaning in the Old Town / Chinatown neighborhood of Portland! We all know it is going to take a village to help our Downtown core come back to life post COVID and to feel like a welcoming place again so lets all do our part!
Advanced Registration: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up ahead of time so we know how many volunteers to expect and to fill out the volunteer waiver form. Children are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian.
Check-In Location: We will meet at the courtyard of Ankrom Moisan’s office at 38 NW Davis St #300, Portland, OR 97209.
Getting There/ Parking: Walking/biking/ taking Trimet to the event is encouraged. Paid parking is available on the city streets. Please don't leave any valuables in your vehicle.
What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, general boundary area maps and rubber gloves are provided to all participants that need them.
What to Bring: Please come wearing closed-toed shoes, a snack, and a filled reusable water bottle. If you have your own gloves, litter grabber, litter bag, or 5-gallon bucket, you are welcome to bring those as well. Also be prepared for the weather we will go rain or shine!
COVID Safety: Wear a face covering. Observe social distancing throughout the cleanup.
Restrooms: Bathrooms will not be available, but for sanitary purposes hand sanitizer will be made available.
